They look so fantastic, because the bright red colour is picking out of the spongy cubes. It is perfect for Xmas evening. I love them also, because they are so easy to make. I love the fact, I don’t need two hours and tones of dirty dishes. Easy to make recipes are my go to lately. Not only because I don’t have time, but because I love to eat soon after I desire something sweet and fresh. When we incorporate the fruits to our baked sweets, that means we don’t need to add additional sugar and we get vitamins when indulging. Win win situation.
You probably don’t think a lot about your liver right? It’a a quiet organ, that does not hurt and never gives us any sign that would hurt us. It’s an organ, that protects all other organs and if livers are working properly, than all the other organs work normally and you have bright eyes, beautiful skin and strong hair. This is how we know our liver are working fine. We don’t get sick every time a breeze catches us and we look young and vibrant. Once livers are fatty or scarred or they are overworking, they are not able to store and use the nutrients we provide with food and we lack the vitamins and nutrients that ensures the normal, vital and healthy life.
What do our liver actually need? Simple. They need natural sugars from fruits and veggies and all the foods that are unprocessed and packed with nutrients. What they hate? They have problem with large amounts of fats and alcohol. Those two things prevent livers to do their job; which is protect other organs from toxins and storing the vitamins and nutrients.
Did you know that your livers are the actual cause that you are fit and have the right weight or not? A lot of times we gain weight because of the overburdened livers. They are not able to ensure the proper functions in our body.

I love to use berries in the winter time, to get some natural vitamin C and antioxidants. I love to use them in smoothies and in sweets. I don’t eat a lot of sweets, but these Holidays that are coming are the once that just call for baked sweets and festive smells in the house.
Recipe for Raspberry Cubes
- 50 grams of blanched, ground almonds
- 70 grams of degreased almond flour
- 60 grams of melted butter
- 1 bag of baking powder / cream of tartar
- 4 eggs
- 6 table spoons of coconut sugar (or other sweetener)
- vanila essence to taste
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of raspberries
- 3tbsp of sour cream
Divide 3eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff picks forms. Beat the 3egg-yolks and 5 tbsp of coconut sugar until yellow foam forms. Add melted butter and then slowly add dry ingredients. When all is mixed together, add egg whites and put on a baking dish.
Beat one egg with one tbsp of coconut sugar and add whipped cream. Mix all together with raspberries and sour cream. then gently place the mixture on the top of the batter.
Bake for 30 minutes on medium heat – around 180 degrees Celsius.
Let it cool for 10 minutes, before slicing the cubes.
