Foie Gras Hokkaido mix

This dish has amazing taste and it also looks great. You can prepare it really fast and impress your friends if they come to see you unexpectedly. It is easy and it melts in your mouth. It is suitable for dinner because there are no fresh veggies involved. As we already discussed, you should avoid eating fresh vegetables after 4 p.m. because they need a lot of time to digest.

Foie gras hokkaido mix

Recipe for Foie Gras Hokkaido mix

  • ¼ hokkaido pumpkin
  • ½ onion
  • garlic (to taste)
  • ½ tsp of dry parsley
  • ½ tsp of dry basil
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • few slices of foie gras
  • grated goat cheese (optional)

First, lightly sauté onions and add hokkaido pumpkin when onion is lightly yellow/brown. When hokkaido is soft and nicely sautéed, add parsley, basil, salt, pepper and garlic (garlic should always be added at the end because if you sauté it too long, it becomes bitter). Put everything on the plate and place foie gras at the top to lightly melt — from the heat of the dish. At the end, you can add grated goat’s cheese if you like.
