ground beef
|

large onion, chopped
|
|
|
1 cup
|
|
water, divided
|
|
|

|
can (28-oz) diced tomatoes,
undrained
|
|
|
1 cup
|
|
salsa
|
|
|
1
|
|
package (16-oz) frozen
corn
|
|
|

|
medium potatoes, peeled and
cubed
|
|
|
1 teaspoon
|
|
salt, optional
|
|
|
1 teaspoon
|
|
ground cumin
|
|
|
1/2 teaspoon
|
|
garlic powder
|
|
|
1/2 teaspoon
|
|
pepper
|
|
|
2 Tbs
|
|
all-purpose flour
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In a 4-qt. Dutch oven or large kettle, brown beef and
onion; drain. Add 3/4 cup water and next eight ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for
1-1/2 hours. Combine flour and remaining water; stir into stew. Cook and stir until boiling and slightly
thickened.
